You have so much to consider;
your future.
Relationships with your friends or families.
Loved ones.
Holidays.
Jobs.
It's amazing we all don't have chronic insomnia.
But it gives us something to do. It makes us feel human because we know that no matter what, we always have something to make us feel better or worse. There's always going to be that unknown variable in someone's life that they will strive to find.
It keeps us alive and trying. It gets us out of bed; the unknown.
Will today be our last day alive?
Will it be tomorrow?
Will I get married?
Will my children like me?
Will I get the job?
What impression did I leave?
What will I do today?
Tomorrow?
Next week?
Next month?
Next year?
Will I see my one-hundredth birthday?
I hope that you all have something to keep you up at night.

But that's what keeps me sane.
